The W-L Activities Department strives to develop the educational, social, and emotional well-being of each student through teaching and modeling performance and moral character traits in order to become a positive, impactful citizen in our community.
In order to try-out and/or participate on an athletic team including tryouts and out of season green days, students must be cleared. Athletic clearance includes updated RSchool registration and current annual VHSL physical/Doctor’s clearance (Page 3).
Rschool Registration process includes the following documents to review, complete or upload:

Complete online the VHSL Athletic Participation/Parental Consent/Health History/ Insurance/ Emergency Information (online forms)

Upload Physical Examination (dated after May 1, 2023, signed and stamped)

Include Health Insurance Information
-
Sign online the Arlington Public Schools Athletic/Co-Curricular Participation Agreement
-
Review and acknowledge online Information sheets on concussions
VHSL requires that all athletes must have health insurance. For those students not already covered, APS recommended student accident insurance is available for purchase. Information on this insurance can be found at https://enrollment.k12studentinsurance.com/enrolment/home
